1. What is the applications for CNC machining PEEK?

PEEK material is a special engineering plastic with excellent properties such as high-temperature resistance, self-lubricating, easy processing, and high mechanical strength. They could be used for following industries.
(1). Transportation-Most of the PEEK is used to manufacture parts around the engine, transmission parts, steering parts, etc

2. How to improve the deformation for CNC machining in PEEK?

Although Peek is perfect for making by CNC machining, it will deform and surface cracks easily in the cutting process.In order to achieve more precision tolerance and flat surface, there are some methods to avoid its deformation.
(1). Annealing treatment before cnc machining
(2). Avoid the larger cutting amount, it is better to machine by 2-3 times.
(3). Add coolant during processing

3. Tips for CNC PEEK Machining plastic materials.

PEEK plastic has excellent mechanical processing performance, whether it is conventional CNC turning or CNC milling processing, it can also be adapted to grinding, welding and other processes.
However, when plastic cnc machining, you need to pay attention to the following issues:
(1) When processing modified PEEK grades, you need to pay attention to tool wear;
(2) When grinding, it is necessary to pay attention to the cooling of the grinding wheel;
